Rhino to Revit workflow help

Hi there,

For our uni assignment, a group mate and myself have different software skills. I know rhino, and have done extensive modelling in rhino. But now she needs to work in Revit.

So far, after a bit of trial and error using different DWG/DXF export settings, the issue is that the rhino model comes into revit as one block with no layers.

Does anyone know the best way to export rhino geometry while maintaining layers for import and editing in Revit?
I understand it may not be possible.

Hi Jeremy,

could you just post a screenshot of the part of the work? I usually export plans as a dwg and then draw the objects. And I am also taking in 3D dwg to get the heights.

There is also Rhino for Revit - there you can turn your Rhino geometry into objects in Revit.
