When I open the Rhino WIP button from Revit (2019), I get an error that the WIP build has expired.
I just updated the WIP version I have 3 days ago, I know I have the most up-to-date version.
Hi @stevebaer,
That seemed to work! Silly me - I should’ve checked that before.
It works as There is a new popup when I open Revit.
Is that something I could fix?
Thanks!
Hi @quagliatol
I have the same problem you had and I try to update my RhinoInsideRevit but everytime I restart Revit it ends up with being the same old version instead of the new. How exactly did you uninstall this old version, since I have been in the Revit%Addins folder, but I can not find Rhino Inside in that folder.
This may be due you downloaded again the same old installer version.
Try to download it again with an other browser or try clearing your browser cache:
@scottd@kike Same for me as above - I just downloaded the latest WIP but it says it’s an old one with 10 days left. The release notes say there should be a new one today “Build Time: 03/04/2021 17:48:12” Can the download link be updated? Thank you!
I think I see what you mean. If you check the build log, the newest and second newest builds have the same release number even though their build time is 6 weeks apart. I’m not sure if that is a mistake, or what.
Use the Windows uninstaller tool to uninstall Rhino.Inside
Uninstall all remaining Rhino.Inside components under “this PC”
Delete browser Cache
Download the newest Rhino.Inside version
Install the newest Rhino.Inside version
Restart computer
Run Revit, click Rhino.Insde Add.In
It will still, somehow, load a really old version into Revit and not the current one (so it won’t run, because “This WIP has expired”… At this point I don’t know what else to do
