Rhino inside Revit - Tagging Direct Shapes

Hello,

I am attempting to bring in a complex geometry from rhino into revit. I would like to be able to tag this geometry in revit as a wall with a type mark. I can easily tag a wall when bringing it into revit. However If I wanted to create a more complex wall I need to bring it in using direct shape or by type. Is there a way to assign a parameter that will allow me to tag the wall in revit. Thank you
