"Rhino.Inside for Autodesk Revit Setup Wizard ended prematurely"

Dear all,

I have a hard time to install Rhino.Inside Revit.

I downlaoded the installation file.

But each time i have the pop up window.

If someone had the same issue and know how to do, please send me few hints.

I googled it but there is no indication about this issue.

Hi David, This a new one. Can.you open Rhino and type SystemInfo into the command line and post the results here please?

This graphics configuration is the issue. Remote Desktop isn’t supported.

Effectively, the fist time I tried to install Rhino.inside was with my remote connection (office computer from home).
But i also tried directly from my office and it didn’t worked. Is there a Trigger effect? Meaning after it don’t work?
I also can send you the SystemInfo on monday.

I believe this is due to the display configuration. Rhino doesn’t support Remote Desktop.

You are certainly right. Evene if Rhino works fine for me since i installed it remotely.
I understand i can only use it from my local desktop.

But could you help me how to solve this issue? I really need to install Rhino.Inside

Can I send you my systeminfo via cmd ? I don’t know if it is wise to display it in a forum…

I uninstalled Rhino and instal it again. And that is the solution.

What is the version number of the Rhino.inside.Revit installer?

There is nothing atypical about Revit installation. Revit and Rhino on C drive. The version of Rhino.inside is: RhinoInside.Revit_1.20.8836.21283. And I have the same version of Revit as you.

lets generate a log of the install.

in a windows CMD terminal user this command msiexec /i <path_to_msi> /L*V <path_to_log>

it will look something like this…
