Unable to install and uninstall rhino inside revit

Hi @Japhy,

Both Rhino and Revit work fine individually but I am unable to install the new version of RiR as well as remove the old version of RiR.

I am not able to see the RiR toolbar in Revit either.

Kindly guide me on this.

What is your Rhino version? (via Rhino SystemInfo)

Lets see if there is a plugin conflict.

You can Cntl+Shift on the Rhino start button on the Rhino Ribbon in Revit to get this dialog.

The thing is I don’t see the RiR toolbar only in revit. It does not show up on my revit even though RiR is installed

You’ll want to troubleshoot the Revit side by using this Addin that allows you to disable Revit Addins temporarily.

Hi @Japhy

Does placing the .gha file and the .dll files in the Addins folder do the job? Since I see that I’m missing them in the Revit Addins folder now.

You can’t uninstall Rhino.Inside.Revit? There is something else going on. Let’s try rebooting windows and then go to Add / Remove Programs and uninstall RiR.

A force uninstall using a third party uninstaller worked.

Then installing RiR has caused no issues.

It’s called Revo uninstaller incase anyone is looking for it.
