Rhino for mac (5.2.3) bugs or app settings?

I’ve recently upgraded my 2016 iMac (27", 10.11.5, 4Ghz i7, 32GB, AMD Radeon R9 2GB) to 5.2.3 and noticed some differences between behaviors with my 2011 MBP running 5.2.1.

1.The command line in 5.2.3 does not appear to ‘search’ commands entered as keystrokes. For example typing "mes’ does not produce a list of mesh-related commands.

When the command line actually does show options it is inconsistent with the entered text

The result is that keystroke initiated commands do not work unless the full text of the command is entered, which is super frustrating.

  1. Undo (cmd+z) goes back several steps in history. Redo also goes forward several steps in history.

This is also super frustrating as there is no work-around that I’ve found.

I’ve tested this on two files and seen the same results. Has anyone else run into this?

Sorry for the delayed reply. Strange about the lack of command autocomplete. Can you try something? If you have not already, can you please try restarting your Mac? (Apple > Restart…) Does this resolve the problem? Please let me know what happens. I’d like to try to figure out what is going on here. I don’t think you’re the only one experiencing this (even though I’m unable to reproduce the issue on my end).

Best,
