I want to tell you that the new Offset is really much better than the previous but there’s still a little annoyance.
As you can see in the image if I offset a shape the extensions are only linear (left) instead of being smooth/natural (right)
In the drawing I’m expecting the offset to close the circle and not to extend the tangency.

That one seems hard, to me at least… I don’t see how the right answer could be found there automatically and reliably.

Hi Pascal, yes it could be hard to get a closed offset, but what if it check for Arcs and extend only them with the same radius ?
Yeah - Josh is way smarter than me, he’ll manage something…

I opened an issue for this here. I think it’s reasonable but we’ll have to think about it a bit.
