Rhino 8 OffsetSRF not working

There is an issue with OffsetSRF command in Rhino 8. I’ve seen several forum posts about this issue, but I am adding my encounter with this issue with the list. I am starting with clean geometry, and with just a couple of curve offsets everything stops working unlike in Rhino 7.

I’m noticing weird behavior with OffsetSrf in Rhino 8. Very often it’s creating bad surfaces and/or no surfaces upon offsetting. Here’s an example: [Symbol_01-RH8] When I offset that surface in Rhino 8 (Distance=0.025" Corner=Sharp Solid=Yes Loose=No Tolerance=0.0001 BothSides=No DeleteInput=Yes) it does this: [Symbol_02-RH8] Verses when I offset this exact same surface in Rhino 7 with the same settings: [Symbol_03-RH7]

Rhino 8 Command OffsetSrf issue

All kinds of fun stuff, try offsetting to the inside with 4 or 5.

Thanks for posting an example file. It is fundamentally the same result whether I offset inwards or outwards. Not an issue with the same commands and process in Rhino 7.
