Error top surface offset,Is there a rhino software error on my computer?

when i use command “offsetsrf” with outside then error with top result surface. Why this error? Do you help me?

if you use the solid option it works better, then you can mergeallfaces to delete the squares

Hello - as far as I can see the behavior is the same in V5 - to result is cleaner in both if Corners=Round, which is a mre true offset than Corners=Sharp.

Right. It is cleaner with Corners = Round but it not for the material thickness.
