Hi, All
When I using the OffsetSrf command in Rhino 8, I got the wrong result. In Rhino 7, the result was correct.
Step:
Loft
OffsetSrf
Select object to flip direction. Press Enter when done ( Distance=0.5 Corner=Round ThroughPoint Solid=Yes Loose=No Tolerance=0.01 BothSides=No DeleteInput=Yes FlipAll )
The following is a comparison:

Hello- it’s hard to tell what you are pointing out here - as far as I can see offset, in either direction, produces the same results in each version.

Hi,Pascal
Thank you for your response.
When using this file and performing the same operation, Rhino 8 generates a broken surface after executing OffsetSrf.
I don’t know what caused it.

v7 thickens it, v8 shoots the offset into the distance. Very different result in those videos.

Hi @Ansen.A
Don’t ask me why, but it seems to be a tolerance issue. If you increase your tolerance to 0.001 meters, it works in V8. Although I should think there’s nothing in that shape that should require a tighter tolerance. It’s a fairly simple surface, but I’m no NURBS brain, so hopefully someone will chime in and correct me

Yes, but this is normal in Rhino 7, so I find it very strange.
