Rhino 8 - CopyToClipboard not working in Layouts

Hi all,

Basically what the title says. Building a multi-page layout template in Rhino 8, and trying to copy objects between Layouts. I’ve tried Cmd+C and “CopyToClipboard”, but using Paste and Cmd+V yield “Unable to paste, no Rhino objects or text on the Clipboard.”

Hope someone has a fix!

Hi Robert, I’m not able to repeat this, can you try in a new file?

What is your systemInfo look like? (run systeminfo command in the rhino command line)

Tried again in a new document and still can’t paste. Copying/pasting text works fine, just not rhino objects.

Hi Robert -

Just to make sure, could you post a very simple 3dm file with geometry on one layout that you can’t copy to a different layout?

I am having this same issue. Can’t copy and paste any text, lines or objects between layouts. I can copy and paste within a sheet. Slowing down drawing time by a landslide

@user384, @James_Stodgel1 - can you help us repeat this? We could use a file and step-by-step instruction on how to make this not work.
