Copying and pasting will randomly not work

I have a recurring issue that copying and pasting objects will randomly stop working. The error I get is “Unable to paste, no Rhino objects or text on the clipboard”.

This happens across different files, and both pasting within the same file and between two files. Also happens whether I’m copying one object or many. Happens both with keyboard shortcuts and copying from the Edit menu. Has been happening for months at this point.

Randomly appearing issues are hard to fix.
Are you always working in the same file, or can this also happen when you start from a factory-default template and create a few objects?

Just to add, I’ve been having this issue as well. Similarly, I haven’t been able to ID when or why it happens. It feels very random and doesn’t always happen immediately, but almost always eventually happens during a session. Once it happens the first time, Copy/Paste won’t work until the session is restarted. I’ve completely switched my workflow to either using Array to copy elements, or in a pinch, exporting selected items and reimporting them into the file.
