Hi guys,
In Rhino 8 the preview color of the _Array command seems to be black.
I am working with a black background so thats not practical.
In Rhino 7 or before the preview had the same color as the object to array.
Is there a way to set the color of the preview?
thanks, Tobias

Hi Tobias,
I’m not seeing that here. If I create a green circle in 8.33 and run Array, I see the preview of a bunch of green circles.

Hi.
Enable the “Surface Edges” option in the Display Mode settings.
Developers, could this be improved so that it works without requiring the “Surface Edges” option to be enabled?
Indeed, if I disable edges in XRay I also see no ArrayLinear preview. The same would happen in V7 btw. With the difference that Isocurves are still visible

The Array preview color is black in all display modes, incl. Wireframe.
Display of Surface Edges is turned on in all shaded modes.
It seems to be (poly)surfaces only. Curve objects or points behave correctly.
If I turn a surface into a block it also shows the correct color.
So just surface objects but in all display modes though
