Whenever I use Rhino 6 now it keeps freezing. This happens especially when I am trying to drag something or bring in a picture. I have had a problem with this in v6 for a while, but sometimes it is better and sometimes it is worse. Before it would freeze my whole computer up and I would have to reboot. Now it just freezes rhino, then the screen goes momentarily black, and then Rhino is just stuck in “not responding” until I restart it. As you can imagine, this is quite annoying as I sometimes lose work, and lose a lot of time. Here are my system specs if anyone can help me understand what is wrong.

When i set the anti aliasing to 2x, the freezes are gone. (horrible drawings, but Rhino runs much better
Maybe that is something to try @robinharrison ?
No. AA has to do with the how hard the display driver and adapter work to try to smooth out the appearance of diagonal curves and edges in the on-screen display.
Yes, there are AA controls for rendering too, but this is for working display, not for rendering.
It’s also possible you are running a hybrid computer that also has an embedded Intel display adapter.
A recent Windows 10 (1803 edition) seems to have caused a problem on these systems. The fix is to download and install the Intel driver from September 2018.
Use the Windows Device Manager to check the Date of the drivers if you have an Intel GPU in addition to your AMD.
I believe so, but I’m not positive. It seems the worst problems are with Windows 10 (1803).
Generally speaking, having updated display drivers are better than old ones. It’s very rare when a new driver causes problems, but it can happen.
Still having this problem. Is someone able to help me understand what is wrong? I would very much like to be able to use Rhino 6. I reinstalled it just in case that would help and it didn’t.
Although I have updated to windows 10 a while ago, I am still getting this same problem as before. My graphics driver is up to date, and anti-aliasing is at 2x. It’s sort of a pain to not be able to use it, and I have to use some plugins that don’t work on V5 for class.

Which plug-ins specifically? I don’t see any out of the ordinary plug-ins in the list.
Does the problem also appear when you run Rhino in safe mode?
Can you describe your peripherals - number and connection to external monitors?
