Rhino 6 crashes at startup AGAIN

hi, I currently rinning Rhino 6 on my laptop but since this morning when I launch Rhino6 it crashes. I don’t know what to do and all the previous topics about this are useless for me right now. how can I do? please help!

Hi - a few questions:

  • You write “AGAIN” - does that mean that it stopped doing that at some point? If so, what caused it to stop.
  • You write “since this morning” - what has changed on your system since yesterday?
  • Does Rhino run in Safe Mode?

Also, please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and post the result here.
Thanks!

hi and thank you very much for your quick answer

  • this morning I installed Duet on my laptop (an app that allows me to turn my iPad into a secondary monitor and then rhino started to crash at startup (I think it’s the main problem)
  • even if I uninstall duet from my laptop rhino still crashes.
  • rhino runs in safe mode.

here’s the result of systeminfo:

Hi - thanks for that additional information!

These are clear signs of something going wrong with the display adapters.

The drivers for both the Intel and the NVIDIA are getting old. Please open the Notifications panel in Rhino to find links to where you can download up-to-date drivers.

I would recommend a “clean install” of new drivers using the recipe posted by @jeff here:

Please let us know if that helped!
