Can you start Rhino in safe mode? If so, can you run SystemInfo in Rhino and copy/paste the results here?
Hi Helvetosaur,
Yes I can run it in safe mode. Heres the system information:

Hmm, something looks wrong here:
Rhino does not seem to fully recognize the video driver (which looks up to date).
If running a repair of Rhino via the Windows programs panel
doesn’t help, maybe try a clean uninstall/reinstall of the video driver?
Hi Helvetosaur,
I did the repair and still comes up as Null. I have also already done two clean installs this morning, but can do another one.

I went under my system information :
Can you run SystemInfo when not in safemode?
Did you get the video driver directly from Nvidia’s website driver page?
Also: Did Windows 10 recently update itself just before this behavior began?
I can only run system info when in Rhino Safe Mode. Yeah, I downloaded the driver directly from Nvidia. This behavior has been happening for a while and I was able o resolve by uninstall/reinstall rhino to fix the issue. I have tried this technique and was not successful 3 to 4 times today.
I think the video information in systeminfo may be misleading in this case since Rhino runs differently when in safemode. Did you install any plug-ins?
I dont have any plugins.
I used to have Rhino’s Lumion plugin about 2 months ago but had to reinstall rhino and never reinstalled it.
Open pluginmanager and make sure that Lumion is not listed in there.
Ok- this is very werid… If I open rhino directly from .exe it gives me the black screen. If I open one of my files it opens without a problem… I probably didnt have to reinstall rhino so many times… I just need to open existing files…

Can you try the Rhino 7 WIP to see if you get the same result? I’m still baffled at what is going on.
