Rh8 bug - Block subselection and copy creates extra copies

Hi,
I doubt that this is intentional behaviour.

Rh8 SR14

  1. Create a block with some geometry
  2. Subselect n amount of said geometry
  3. Copy to a new location
  4. The original block is copied n times

Hi Toni, Thanks for reporting. I’m seeing the same behavior in Rhino 7. It appear that each sub select is going to get the parent, to copy out of the block editing is required.

We do have several youtracks related to this in R8 as well as enhancements in the WIP (R9)
