There is a bug in Rhino 7 when using named selection inside blocks. It seems once you close the block named selections get copied multiple times and once trying to edit block the named selections get copied again. Once copied they don’t even work anymore.
This is a huge issue as using Rhino blocks is a great way to sort and organize a complex architectural model.
So, you edit a block and make named selections within that block, do I have that right?

Hello - I doubt this scenario was envisioned when the tool was designed… I’ll test and ask the developer, but I would not hold out too much hope for a quick fix here - I could be wrong but…
