Render meshing failed or was canceled. Switching to wireframe display

Hi,
I have model of a topography and every other part of it (water, sidewalks, buildings, etc.) can be viewed in shaded view and then turned into meshes fine. This one section is not allowing me to do that, and crashes when I include it into my shaded view. Have no idea what is wrong. The surface is too big to upload but i have no idea why a few days ago it was working and all of a sudden now it doesnt.

Thanks in advance

Hi tjemz -

I’m not sure what that means. Is this what causes meshing to fail or does Rhino crash?

You can get big files to us from Rhino Accounts - make sure to add a link to this thread in the comments field.

Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste its output here.

Hi,
Yes should have been more clear, the meshing fails and defaults to wireframe. I upload the problematic surface and here is my systeminfo:

Hi T -

Thanks.
Here that meshes eventually.
Have you tried changing the mesh settings from “Smooth and slower” to “Jagged and faster”, or tried custom settings?

Note that the current version is SR 21! I’d update that installation to get lots of bug fixes…
