Rendered View Does not Work

I have an object which are part of a building I am supposed to make for a class. They are all extruded surfaces and for some reason whenever I work with them, it slows my computer down to the max and it will not go to shaded or rendered, always switching back to wireframe. I just bought this new computer and I am not sure why it is not working. Here is the system info command.

Hi Luiza -
If you start a new file from a factory-default template and just create a simple box, will that let you display it in the Shaded display mode?
In your building file, when you put a viewport into the Shaded display mode, is anything printed to the command line - please use F2 and copy the text that is printed to the command line.
-wim

Yes, Just a simple box will work, but not the actual object I want rendered does.
when I put it into shaded display it says “creating meshes… press esc to cancel” and it always takes incredibly long so I end up pressing it. And then it says “Render meshing failed or was canceled. Switching to wireframe display.” in the command history.

Hello- please try SelBadObjects Does that select anything, if so, hide or delete those objects and see if it works.
If there are no bad objects selected, I would try turning off layers , half at a time, to see if you can isolate the layer that has the problematic objects.
