After I updated to Rhino 7 release 22, meshes and surfaces are often shown in wireframe for no reason.

@LHT - it all looks correct here on a similar system but with mac OS 12.6 - you might try updating yours which is on 12.4

Here’s a bad news. Even after updating to 12.6, it still has the same problem.
I also wanted to try downgrading the rhino version to 21 but i found it impossible to get the installation file. (just because it happened after updating to version 22.)

A few other things to try: I see that you are using non-default display modes - does resetting those to the factory-defaults change anything? What happens when you disable the ProRender plug-in?
Note that you don’t have to uninstall pervious versions on macOS - you just need to make sure to rename the icon when you unpack the dmg.
Here’s a link to SR21 - 7.21.22208.13002. Does that still behave differently?

going back to version 21 solved the problem. so updating to version 22 definitely was a problem.
RH-70627 is fixed in Rhino 7 Service Release 24
