Rectangle tool only available on horizontal axis

Hi,

I am having trouble with my rectangle drawing tool in Rhino. It will only draw on the horizontal axis and not vertically when drawing in perspective mode, which it was able to do before. I have tried turning on and off the o-snap, ortho, use shift when drawing and have tried to alter the cplane as well (creating a manual 3 point cplane with my preferred axis).

I draw both horizontal and vertical rectangles in perspective view so I would love to know how to fix this issue!

Select the Vertical option within the Rectangle command before placing the first point. You can then draw a three point rectangle vertically (beginning of baseline, end of baseline, vertical offset).
