Hello, I am experiencing difficulties printing linetypes in layouts since I switched to R8. I never had any problems with R7. I have tried many things, but I can’t seem to make dashed lines appear in R8. I suspect it might be a scaling issue somewhere, but I haven’t been able to locate it yet. Has anybody else encountered this kind of problem? I currently have a R7 license, and this situation makes me question whether to purchase R8. Thanks.

You’ve set your Mixte linetype to be segments of 875, 175, 175, 175 millimeter.
Those are the values that will be used to draw curves in a detail on a layout so that, when you print this page to paper and measure a line, the segments will be 875 and 175 mm with 175 mm gaps.
Your page is A3-sized - 420 x 297 mm. You won’t be able to put a 875 mm line on that 420 mm wide page, and, as a result, you see a solid line only.
Set the definition of a linetype to something that makes sense on the size of paper that you will be using it. If that then becomes too small to see in model space, change the Model space scale value at the top of that panel.
