Problems with Layer Window Rhino 8

Hello,
I have recently been having an issue with Rhino 8. When I try to change the color of a layer and am directed into the color picker dialog box, if for some reason I take a moment too long and the layer window behind automatically re-docks intself to the side panel of may screen before I exit the color picker dialog box, Rhino freezes. Any thoughts on this?

So far, I can’t duplicate that.
I am running V8 SR7, and I have current display drivers loaded.

I would update Rhino to the current service release candidate SR6, and update your display drivers.

Any better?

Thanks John. I updated Rhino and my Intel GPU as recommended - I had already updated my Nvidia GPU prior to the post. It seems better, but if I try to change the layer print color, and let the layer manager window close behind the color picker dialog box, Rhino hangs up.

you are running a hybrid machine-
have you done this set up?

also always run rhino plugged in to wall power- (which you are doing)
