Print Colour Bug

Hi, may I check if this is a bug? The object’s print colour still remains black even after setting it by layer (layer colour is magenta) and I have also made sure print display is on with colour mode on Print.

It works fine however if I were to set it ‘By Object’ and then setting the object’s print colour to magenta.

Also, it shows correctly on VA’s plan views when set to ‘By Layer’, just wondering if this is a bug for accurate viewing in 3D.

Thanks

Hi @Owi can you share that 3dm file so we can better understand how are the attributes assigned in this model?

print display colour bug.3dm (946.5 KB)

It works when the print display is off now, and the plan swing lines turn black when the print display is turned on instead.

Hi @Owi I assume there is no bug here. The object has the print color set to By Layer, and the Print Color of that Layer is black so therefore the print color of the object is black.

Hi @fsalla

Placing the door on a cyan layer does not change the print colour of the object to cyan

Hi @Owi have you enabled the Print Preview? can you share that file as well?

Hi again, I’ve just realized that the print color on VisualARQ objects is not visible in Shaded display mode. It works in “Hidden” or “Technical”, but is not consistent in other display modes that use objects color. We will revise this and get back to you.
