This print preview doesn’t seem to be consistent with the printing color of the beams, which is set to “by Layer”, and has the black color assigned. So I think the only problem here is the Print preview page, because the beams print out in the right color.
I’m surprised you can print the beams if you are using the Technical display mode in that detail (because of the first issue listed here). I cannot reproduce it.
That is correct, I think. I Restored Defaults on “Hidden” and realised that the I have changed the Surface Edge settings to use single color for all edges. This gives me the view style I’m looking for.
But I did not realise that while this affects the visible display color, it does not match the Print/Output Color/Display Color, which is then read from the beam properties, instead from the display settings.
Print Preview/Ouput color/Display Color looks consistent with what I see on screen.
VA objects do not show, but this is already known. (I could not replicate 3) the RCP visibility again either)
