Before I finish saving up to buy VisualARQ, I was wondering if it’s possible to create rendered floor plans like this one directly within the tool. I’d like to have textured backgrounds on the floors, black pens for the wall outlines, and furniture with a white fill and gray stroke. And this kinda vectorized shadows. I created this plan entirely in Archicad.
Is it possible to achieve this kind of graphical differentiation between objects in VisualARQ? Or would I need to export it to an external software like Illustrator or Photoshop?
Hi @Gustavo_Soares_Silva VisualARQ lets you print the model to vector output only using the Hidden display mode, which doesn’t show shadows or materials. However, there is a trick consisting in combining two detail views one on top of the other, and set the display of one of them to Hidden, and the other one to Rendered/Realistic/etc.
Thank you very much, I think it will be enough. I’ll try to find a way to create “hatch” on shadows (maybe ladybug) and I think the result will be almost the same as the one in Archicad.
