I Imported a layout today which has a plan view detail window with a level cut active and several perspective detail views without any level cuts. When I went to adjust the active level cut on the plan view detail window, the level cut wouldn’t become active in the plan view detail window, instead becoming active in a perspective window. Copying the plan view detail window reset the situation so that level cut activation operated correctly.
Hi @djhg I’ve tried to reproduce this issue with a random test file but I couldn’t. When I import the layout, the detail in plan view has not kept the cut plane, but I can activate it without affecting the other viewports.
Make sure the “Synchronize levels” is not activated in the Level manager:
