Ok I tried capturing a video of ExtrudeCrv extruding only in the pos direction and it worked as expected. I did quit WIP and restart it though so that may have resolved that issue.
As the Mac WIP is now Rhino 6 at its core, you may not be aware of the change made to ExtrudeCrv/ExtrudeSrf for Rhino 6… It now follows the direction the extrusion is pulled with the mouse cursor: a plus value will go in the direction of the cursor, a minus value will go in the opposite direction. This is a paradigm shift from V5. You will either love or hate the new behavior, depending on how you are used to working.
This is also new for V6 behavior, you can turn it off in Preferences>Mouse>“Turn on control points when selecting a curve, light or annotation”

Thank you. That might explain why I was not able to reproduce it after struggling with it.

Thanks for this as well. I went through the preferences to see the changes but I believe I completely skipped over the mouse prefs. This feature I found frustrating. It’s great during tweaking but frustrating when arranging. Is there a command to turn the feature on and off along with the preferences tic? If so it can be useful attached to a hot key.
