Physically based Material with jpeg base color

After I create a material and apply it by layer to an object everything works fine, BUT if I make a change to the jpeg, rhino seems to have trouble updating the RENDER view and “sometimes” the material icon in the materials panel. Rhino seems to remember the last jpeg. If I go the RAYTRACED view, the new jpeg shows up correctly. Also the UV editor with the new JPEG seems to also have trouble sometimes.

If I save and close the file, then open it, I see new jpeg.

Even after closing the file and opening it, the material icon does not update always.

RefreshAllTextures doesn’t help.

I guess since in RAYTRACED view the jpeg update takes place, but RAYTRACED, UV and MATERIAL ICON don’t always get the message of the update.

You should not have to close the file and then open it anyway.

Seems confusing but it’s making it very confusing to me.
