Now what I often do is making a copy by selecting something, then Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste it again and then immediately nudge it to move it a specific distance without having to click or type dimensions.
In rhino Beta, after I paste and try to nudge it my computer makes a windows error sound and it doesn’t nudge the object. If I rotate the view after pasting and then nudge it seems to work, but that seems quite cumbersome.
Can we stop suggesting clicking as a solution to something that should work without having to click? My whole point was that it’s cumbersome to have to click to make it work.
Anyway. Even though I was testing quite a bit yesterday and kept on getting the windows error I haven’t had the same issue happening again today so perhaps there was something else going on.
Right, I guess I could have responded a bit less harsh. In my original post I mentioned that it works after rotating the view, meaning clicking solves it. Perhaps that wasn’t clear from my side.
