With the latest beta an intermittent problem is back for me where nudging control points on objects involved with history (parent or child) results in one nudge works, next nudge (without doing any other operations) doesn’t do anything, subsequent ones do nothing and I get an error bing.
There seems to be some kind of general focus problem that crops up like this, I have posted a couple of experiences where things stop working and all I get is bing…
Just curious, when this happens, if you right click in the viewport somewhere and pan it a bit, do you get it working again?
Yep…
Same bug then…
So far I haven’t run into this myself, but keeping an eye. If you have steps to reproduce, that would be great.
I was going to say “it happens all the time as I described” but uh I guess not…
Happening to me again now with both Offset and Nudge… ![]()
With a bit of testing it seems that it works “okay” if all the views are wireframe.
Still happening in the new Beta…
We have this logged under RH-97257 Rhino loses focus
It’s still happening in 08-25, still the only way to stop it is for all the views to be wireframe.
can you send an example file where this happens? I can’t reproduce this here.
Here’s a rough sample that shows it here.
nudge history test.3dm (140.7 KB)
that sample works fine here, I am selecting the larger surface in right view, and nudge it left, right up and down. The only thing that eventually happens is that MatchSrf screws up the surface, but that’s another story.
It doesn’t work here, unless the viewports are all in wireframe.
RH-98161 Nudge stops working
So far so good…
