Nurbs to mesh command and wires display

Hello,

Is there a way to disable x-ray mode when previewing mesh wires during _Mesh command ?

here i am preparing a file for 3d printing on a 50µm machine. The mesh is dense and the preview is unreadable:

Changing the display mode has no effect on the preview, but in Shared mode the display is readable.
