No keyboard shortcuts using ALT +

I´d like to setup a keyboard shortcut for ALT + X (for similarity with other apps)
any particular reason, why rhino does not offer ALT + … shortcuts?

Typically, those are defined at the OS level. It’s on the list to check if that can be overridden:
RH-86644 Alt cannot be used for Shortcuts on Windows

so that would be a good reason to allow these in Rhino.
I use quite many of them in 3ds max.

btw:
CTRL+ALT+L does not work in my rhino (!_unlock)
if i put the same to CTRL+ALT+E it would work.

Seems to work here… What does Options>Keyboard show under CtrlAltL?
