I’m trying to model this ring
My smash of the ring surface is this
But it should be like this
I think the problem is the “A” and “C” points of NetworkSrf command. In the video there are located in above, in my work - bottom.
How can I solve this?
Actually your seam is on top of your ring, that’s why the smash open from top.
you can use NoAutosort command in networkSfr , the first curve you will pick ( open curves ) will be the seam, pick the bottom curve in first.
Or you can use _SrfSeam command and put your seam at bottom on surface created , but you will broke history.

There was no NoAutosort in NetworkSrf command.
