My First Kitchen Design: Feedback on My 3D Prototype Created with Rhino 8

I am creating a new kitchen for my tiny family house and have prepared a 3D prototype. The design includes several modules. Rhino 8 has been great for quickly rendering the views, allowing me to present the prototype to the contractor.

Suggestions and comments are welcome!

Only thing I see is maybe some overhead lighting above the sink and the bar stools are too tall. Nice otherwise.—-Mark

Yes, ok; I cut the legs and moved the scale to improve the space.

this is all awesome! thanks for sharing!
Only thing I’d think thru carefully is to make sure that workstations have lights that do not cast shadows from your body onto what you are working on… the ceiling light needs to be in front of you not behind…made that mistake on my kitchen reno design and had to correct it late in the game cuz everything was shadowed!

Spotlights are pointing directly to the canvas.
And strong lights are pointing up to the roof to create indirect ample areal light

In the kitchen, the spotlights are pointing down to the island
And there are long LED lights on the furniture.

A 2-minute render. There are no lumen or candle to agust.

Looks great! One thing I noticed is that it looks like you are going for handleless drawers and doors and possibly considering something like the Blum Blumotion push to open drawer runners for example.

We went for push to open as it gives a nice clean, minimal design free from handles.

However, push to open can be quite annoying to live with. When you have people standing in the kitchen, they inevitably lean against the units and inadvertently open the drawers! People inevitably end up using their feet to open the lower doors and drawers. Selecting the push to open runner requires knowledge of how heavy the drawer contents will be. It can be annoying if you get this wrong or decide to change the weight of the contents of a drawer significantly.
Integrated Dishwasher and Fridge doors don’t always work as push to open so they need a handle or you are constrained to models that do have a push to open option.

I love the sleek, minimal look of handleless units but if I did it again I would have a simple recessed handle on each unit and save some money on the hardware!
