Model Perspective View Orientation Changing with Camera

I’m an architecture student running Rhino 7 (7.36.23346.16352, 2023-12-12) on Mac. I was previously working in Rhino without issue. Used the Camera command because I needed to set up an elevation view that didn’t conform to the default Left/Right/Front views. However, this caused my Perspective view to suddenly flip the orientation of my building so that the Orbit is not behaving how I need – when I right click the Orbit is not free in the Perspective, but is constrained around an invisible plane equating to the building’s floor. Another way to say this is that right clicking and moving my mouse around in Perspective view only causes the building to rotate like a wheel.

I tried using the Undo command, but that did not change this sudden Perspective Orbit issue – that just started to undo some of my modeling. So Undo does not work.

Any tips on what I can do?

Would deleting the camera solve this? And how would I do that?

Included snapshot of my problem. I admit to struggling with C-Planes and Camera more generally, but I’d prefer to solve this specific issue in isolation before being referred to YouTube tutorials, etc. Thank you!

try command + shift + rmb to rotate out of a “locked” viewport. (this is a feature not a bug… you can do this to lock a perspective viewport into a orto view, and back)

or run the 4view command,

or run window>window layout>default window layout
