Making CPlane change as view is spun around

Was watching a video on V6 from SimplyRhino and saw where the view is spun around the cplane shifts. Very useful and maybe it is available in V5. How to turn it on and control it?

The command in V6 is OneView. In V5 it was a plug-in called AutoCPlane (I think this is the most recent version of it):

thanks! Do I need to use the python script in V5 to get it to work? I loaded the .rhp and not sure how to activate it.

The plug-in should at the command AutoCPlane, does that work for you?

It does not work.

Hello - what happens - does the command run but do nothing, or does it not do what you want, or does the plug-in not load, or?

I see it in the command line so it runs. I am in perspective view and I pivot the view around and I the cplane stays on the bottom and does not adjust.

Hello - please replace that rhp with this one -

AutoCPlane.rhp (18.5 KB)
Does that work any better?

Nice! I had no idea this segment existed, works perfect!

In RH6, OneView now also works on custom CPlanes and has some additional improvements.
