Lots of trouble opening Rhino

This was happening before updating today… .
Basically, most often when I open Rhino, I get a dialog as shown. I can’t make a selection and must use Task Manager to quit.

The other thing that happens is that I get a black workspace and then Rhino quits.

Is there a way to reset Rhino in some way that may help with the issue?

I am usually able to get Rhino working after 4-5 tries after selecting a workspace.

Log file I could attach or send in?

Thanks

Hi Andrew -

From that and the image you posted, I’m not sure how you are starting Rhino. What is a “workspace”?

When you get Rhino to open, run the SystemInfo command and copy-paste the output here.

I have no idea what the issue is, but the Reset command offers multiple levels of resetting Rhino.

Hey Wim-
[edit] fwiw I can’t seem to get rid of Datasmith. In fact, after unchecking it and restarting, it’s loading two bars now:

  1. Sorry, selecting a workspace = picking a new drawing / scale.

  2. SystemInfo:

  1. I don’t think I have any add-ons I need except maybe for 3Dconnexion, so I’ll try a Factory Reset.

Seems to be OK after reset, though I still can’t get rid of Datasmith.
