Linework missing / not visible in top view

Hi, has anyone experienced an issue where linework is visible in a perspective view but not a top view? Image 1 shows a select all that will find and highlight all linework, and image 2 shows nothing selected - and none of the linework visible in top view port.

I suspect it has something to do with a draw order. I can bring everything to front, and it will be visible again - but this is quite a hassle since every new line I draw is not visible…

I’ve cleared the draw order, I’ve updated my graphics card to newest drivers, I’ve checked and unchecked accelerated hardware mode in openGL settings. The layers are absolutely visible because like I mentioned, the linework shows up in a perspective viewport but not a top one.

Any help appreciated!

Hi Lance- with no selection and the Top view active, what does Properties tell you about camera and target locations, are they reasonable?

Whoa, the Z target was MILES away. Very interesting - I flexed the drawing a bit and it seems to be working properly fine now. Thanks! Any idea what causes this sort of thing, did I somehow set a camera target?

Hi Lance- it can happen that one way or another, an object was added or moved to some distant location =, messing up the camera frustum - you can see if that is the case by using Zoom Extents in the other ortho views.

Got it- Thanks Pascal - really appreciate it… that was a potentially hair-loosing situation…!
