Layer order inverted - what happened

The order of the top level layers inverted when I thought I was doing some layer clean-up. Apparently I clicked on something or did some combination of key strokes. Any idea what I did? And is there a simple way to reverse it?

Hi David - clicking on the header at the top of the layer name column should flip it.

Hi Pascal.

This is a vexing problem. I have never figured out what causes it or how to reverse it. Your above suggestion of clicking on the header at the top of the layer name column does not work for me. Please help - it’s a major setback on a big model.

Thank you,

Robert Klein.

Hi Robert - do you see this happen, or do you notice it later? If you see it happen Undo seems, here, to revert the order, at least in my simple test.

Thank you for your reply Pascal.

I have not found that undo works but I will try it more deliberately in the future.

May I ask how you conducted your simple test, to see if it works for me?

Thanks again,

Robert
