In the past week I have begun to be able to use the bottom half of my “Layer” drop down window. I have tried restarting, minimizing the program window and moving the drop down window as well.
Hi John - are you using more than one screen?
-Pascal
Yes, I have two screens at work off a desk top and three at home when I use my laptop.
Hi John - just as a test - disconnect a display and only keep the primary - does that work better?
-Pascal
It did not help, I also tried moving the Properties Object window," undock it from the Layers window", and the drop down window did move up some, but not enough.
Hi John - let me make sure I actually understand what the problem is - is it that on the object properties dropdown list of available layers, the displayed list is truncated and there is no scrollbar to get at the bottom of the list ?
Can you please run SystemInfo
in Rhino and copy/paste the results here?
-Pascal
Yes, that is correct.

Hi John - this is somewhat a shot in the dark but just to eliminate the possibility, and because it is a good idea anyway, please update your gpu driver from the Nvidia website - yours are a couple of years old.
-Pascal
Looks like the update did not take.
Here is the SystemInfo from the update.
