Karamba3d crashes in Rhino8 on Mac

I’ve had Karamba cause Rhino to crash several times (closing the application) every time I begin typing to add a new component in the GH canvas. The crash occurs as soon as I double-click the canvas (so not related to using Karamba-specific components). This happens in several GH files, including the tutorials downloaded from github and my own (very simple) trial files, so I don’t think it has anything to do with the complexity/size of the file.

I’m using the demo version of Karamba. I’m apprehensive to upgrade if it continues to be unusable.
It could be a file storage / installation destination error as sometimes upon launching GH, Karamba doesn’t appear among the plugins but after relaunching Rhino it shows up again. I’ve double-checked and everything is downloaded in the right location according to the guides. I’m running Sequoia 15.6 on 2023 Macbook Air M2.

Update: I’ve resolved it myself; the issue was that I had KarambaIdea running as well, using the newest version (3.0.0.2) which seemed to be incompatible with the latest Mac version of Karamba3d (2.2.0.161). Uninstalling KarambaIdea solved the problem
