I am trying to display my GH-Model with Karamba3D-Analysis in ShapeDiver. When uploading, the mesh results from the BeamView components don’t get displayed. Only the GH-native geometric elements get displayed.
I also wanted to display the calculation results in a 3D-Text tag, but it looks like as if the computation of Karamba3D is not working (see fig.: there should be values for the deformation etc.)
Although there is no error notification or such, I assume that the error is related to the Karamba3D Analysis…
Does someone know what might be the reason for this?
I tried minimizing the complexity of the model, but that didn’t help.
I am also using the Display components from ShapeDiver.
Which version of Karamba are you using? On the shared system available for free accounts, you can only use the free version of Karamba, otherwise the analysis will fail. The free version of Karamba is limited to 20 beams & 50 shells. You can access the paid version of Karamba with a Business account, contact us if you are interested (trial possible).
I am using Karamba Version 2.2.0.14. For both Karamba3D and ShapeDiver I am running an educational version. As far as I understood the educational license does not limit the amount of elements (beams and shells), but the computation time is limited to 10 seconds. I shortened this model to make sure it’s not a computation time problem, but it still occurred.
Our servers are not aware of the educational version of Karamba you are using. There is a strict limit to the free version on the shared servers. Unfortunately there is no way to go around this limitation at the moment.
