Is there a command to pull up the edit window of a selected text dot?

Normally I use double-left-click to pull up this edit window:

This doesn’t work when the text dot is near other objects since the select-disambiguation menu interrupts the double-click. When editing a text object (not a text dot), there are two different ways to do this:

  1. Click the text object (disambiguate selection) and run RTextEdit.
  2. Double-click with the middle mouse button to pull up the edit window.

Unfortunately neither of these methods works for text dots.

If you have the Properties panel open all the time (I do) when you click on a dot, the text editing window is shown.
