How to switch OpenGL graphic card?

Hi. I do have a workstation with two graphic cards and I do want to force rhino to use the Quadro RTX 3000 one instead of the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 but I can’t find a way to do so.

Anyone faced this issue before? If so, how do you fixed?

I can use the Quadro RTX 3000 card for Cycles rendering but not for the OpenGL display:

Run -systemInfo and post the results here.

Windows 11 (10.0.22621 SR0.0) or greater (Physical RAM: 16Gb)

Computer platform: DESKTOP

Standard graphics configuration.
Primary display and OpenGL: Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 (Intel) Memory: 1GB, Driver date: 4-3-2022 (M-D-Y). OpenGL Ver: 4.6.0 - Build 30.0.101.1692
> Integrated graphics device with 3 adapter port(s)
- Windows Main Display attached to adapter port #0
- Secondary monitor attached to adapter port #1

Secondary graphics devices.
NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 (NVidia) Memory: 6GB, Driver date: 3-22-2023 (M-D-Y).
> Accelerated graphics device with 4 adapter port(s)
- There are no monitors attached to this device!

ATTENTION:
Desktop is using the slower, less reliable integrated graphics device and probably needs a configuration change.

There are 2 monitors detected, but none of them are connected to any of the accelerated graphics video ports.

  • Recommended: Unplug one of the monitors and plug it into one of the video ports on this device:
    [NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000]
…and then using Windows’ Display Settings, make that monitor the “Main Display”.
  • Any hardware configuration or cabling changes you make will require that you restart Rhino.

Is this a laptop? It seems to not know how to route the GPU through the main display.

No, It is a Dell workstation. I figured out that there was no monitor connected to the discrete GPU. I do connected one of the monitors to the RTX 3000 and now it is working properly.
