How to have the same command line interface on the Mac as on Windows

I am finding the workspace and command line interface on the Mac to be annoying and not as efficient as the simple command line interface on Window. I had hoped there was a way to have the same ribbon of the command line on my Mac as on windows but I don’t see a way to dock it and have it function the same way. With the windows command line I only have to be focused in one place and I can easily keep track of where I am in a command. The Mac command line pops up in different places with different size panels and there is no continuity to the command flow. It feels jumpy

Is there a way to have the same command line interface on the Mac as on Windows. I hope so and if not why not.

Hi Greg -

There isn’t yet a way to have the command line be the same as on Windows. Changing this is a big project that we didn’t have the resources for during the Rhino 8 development cycle.

Oh Dang. I was hoping that would not be the case. Is that a limitation of the Mac OS?

This is not a limitation of Mac or Windows, just a limitation on development time available to work on a project of this size.
