How to get SubD edges to stick together

Many times when I draw a face with an edge that is coincident with another edge, they don’t become the same edge. I’ve tried stitch and join but neither of those does it. There must be an easy way?

A bug with Append SubD, and an Improvement to Offset SubD

Hello again: I’ve been experimenting with Append to SubD and Offset SubD today. I’ve noticed a bug, as well as some things that could make this work better as a tool for construction. 1.) Open subD object

Hello I’m New to the subD world and have been working to get myself educated. I’ve encountered a problem while working and was wondering if any one can tell me how to close this object? I’m thinking that it may not have been closed after converting it to subD from nurbs. The process I followed was to mesh the nurbs, then take the mesh and convert to subD then do a quad remesh. Im finding that There’s no way to get a subD obect from nurbs without getting loads of faces and maintain the original…

if the edges are truly coincident join will work.

if not, stitch will

select a pair of edges then run the stitch command, pick the location and then enter to complete.
