How to create areas/room stamps from a room book in GH and Rhino?

Hello folks,

I have an issue that I could not solve even after some hours googleing. My objective I think is rather simple but I am not able to create what I want, maybe some of you can help.

What I want to achieve:

I have an excel list with rooms, their names and the surface area. I want to translate that into surfaces visible in Rhino - ideally with their name an the surface area written on the surface.

I am able to create a surface in GH with the rectangle component and using the square root of each room’s desired square meters as input. I find it not ideal, however, to copy that for each room. Is there a possibility to have as an input a list maybe containing the square meters and then plugging that into the square roots → rectangle component and then having all the surfaces in one go?

Thank you very much

Need to see the data.

with some thinking I already got a bit further - i now have the rooms in the correct square meters + names on top, but it would be good if i could distribute the surfaces so that they dont overlap in rhino.

the list with the square meters and room names I copied from excel into GH

thank you - this works! Guillermo solution even attaches the square metres to the room name - I had that wrong in my version.

thank you - this is excatly what I was hoping for!
