How do you dock your Layers panel?

Is there a smart way to dock the layers panel so that it takes up as little width as possible in model space…

but shows all the new column categories for layout-related settings when dealing with layouts?

It’s good and smart that the Layers panel already has different column visibility settings for layout and model space. But is there a smart way to avoid resizing a layers panel optimized for modeling if I happen to start creating layouts? How do you guys place your Layers panel?

(I’m not the biggest fan of floating the panel - would rather keep it in a consistent spot in relation to my modeling if possible.)

Hi -

FWIW - I’ve moved the “local” visibility lightbulb and the “New Detail” column to the front, and the global lightbulb to the right.

When I need access to other layer properties, I right-click and pick the property I need.
I also collapse the side containers so that they don’t take model space until I need them…
